Contact the catalogue project
We welcome thoughtful correspondence from readers, researchers, educators, and rights holders. FAEEF Catalogue Historical Children’s Library is small, and every message is read. Our verified editorial contact is editor@faeef.com.
Why You Might Write
We rely on attentive readers to help us improve the catalogue. You may wish to contact us about:
- Incorrect metadata – an inaccurate title, author attribution, or publication date on a work such as Mollie and the Unwiseman — Background and Themes.
- Category placement – a book that seems misclassified within sections like Young Readers & Adventures or Conflict, Power & Social Change.
- Unreadable files or reader failures – a file that does not open, displays garbled text, or fails on a particular device or browser.
- Accessibility problems – missing alt text, poor contrast, or other barriers that prevent full use of the site.
- Privacy questions – inquiries about our data practices, cookies, or any personal information we may hold.
- Copyright or rights concerns – if you believe a title in our catalogue is not in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you hold rights and wish to discuss a listing.
- General editorial observations – suggestions, corrections, or reflections on our reading companions and edition insights.
What to Include in Your Message
To help us act quickly and accurately, please include:
- The exact page URL where the issue appears.
- The full ebook title and, if known, the file format (ePub, PDF, etc.).
- A brief description of the problem you encountered.
- Your device, operating system, and browser (if the issue is technical).
- Any supporting information, such as a citation or rights documentation.
For copyright-related reports, please state your relationship to the work and provide any relevant details about the rights status in your country.
What to Expect
We read every message and treat each one with care. Because our team is small, we may not be able to reply individually to every note, but we consider all feedback carefully. We do not share your contact information with third parties, and we retain correspondence only as long as necessary to address the matter.
How to Reach Us
Email is the best way to ensure your message reaches the right person. Please send all correspondence to editor@faeef.com. If you have a question that relates to a specific page or ebook, including the URL in your subject line helps us route your message efficiently. For general inquiries, a clear subject line such as “Privacy Question” or “Rights Inquiry” is appreciated.
When to Expect a Response
We aim to acknowledge receipt of your message within a few business days. However, due to the volume of correspondence we receive, a detailed reply may take longer. If you have not received a response after two weeks, you are welcome to follow up. Please note that we cannot guarantee a response to every message, particularly those that are duplicative or outside the scope of our collection.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Any personal information you provide in your message will be used solely for the purpose of addressing your inquiry. We do not add your email address to any mailing list, nor do we share it with third parties. Correspondence is kept confidential and is deleted once it is no longer needed. For more details, please see our Privacy page.
Thank you for helping us maintain a reliable and respectful digital library.
